How It Works

Theaters can't program a movie for an audience they can't see. Big Screen Rally makes that audience visible first.

  1. 1. Someone proposes a showing

A fan picks a movie and a participating theater. The theater reviews content, broadcast and public-performance rights, availability and fit before a Rally is posted publicly.

  2. 2. The Rally goes live and fans reserve spots

The theater sets a goal and deadline, and fans reserve free spots to show real demand. A reservation is a commitment signal, not a ticket purchase—no payment is taken and no seat is held. A verified account keeps the numbers honest.

  3. 3. The goal gets hit

When reservations reach the goal before the deadline, the theater reviews the Rally and makes the final call.

  4. 4. Green-Lit

The theater confirms the showing and sets the final ticket price. Everyone who reserved is notified first and buys tickets through the theater's own ticketing system.

The fine print that matters

  • Reserving a spot is free and never charges you.
  • A reservation does not buy or hold a ticket or seat.
  • Estimated pricing can change; the theater sets the final price at Green-Light.
  • Big Screen Rally does not sell tickets or control admission.
  • You can change or cancel a reservation any time before the deadline.
